So on a scale of 1-10 how do rate you purchase and the quality of the product you have in the 9400THX ? Should I ever get one, it will be used strictly for BD Movie and TV playback. I wont need to shake anything off the walls, but I do want something that puts out enough sound for Theater type sounds ect... I'm not necessarily telling you to mount them that way, you gotta know what you like.

I'd say the 9400 has bigger speakers, which might be a good thing. This might be useful depending on how you want to set the all thing up. Now, some say that within the 800$-1000$ range you could pick the same amps (608,...) and get separate speakers with better reputation . It's now really up to you and depends on the price you can grab it..... Also, if you want to avoid the hassle of choosing separates elements and so, this kit might fit the bill. I'm upgrading from Sony STR-DN1000 receiver with small Sony speakers.
